Alvin - Muay Thai Trainer

Alvin's story is one of grit, resilience, and a love for Muay Thai that burns bright. It all began in Thailand, his adopted home for two decades. Stepping into the ring for his very first fight, his passion collided with reality – a TKO loss against a seasoned Thai champion. This wasn't just a defeat, it was a blow that sidelined him with a serious injury for six grueling months.

But for Alvin, this wasn't the end, it was a turning point. That initial setback fueled a fire within him. He spent his recovery not wallowing in defeat, but studying the sport, strengthening his body, and most importantly, rekindling his love for Muay Thai. He went on to fight 17 more battles, each one a testament to his unwavering spirit.

Now, back in New Zealand and calling JAI Auckland his training ground, Alvin brings a unique perspective to both his Muay Thai and Strength & Conditioning classes. As a former aggressive fighter, he understands the importance of generating raw power. His training sessions are designed to turn your passion into potent strikes, helping you unleash your inner warrior.
